EP 82: How I Went From Zero to SOLD OUT!
Updated: Jul 8
Back in the day, when I tried to grow my little yoga business, I was making all the POSTS on social media, but not making the MONEY. I couldn't figure out why other yoga teachers were able to make posts about their classes and workshops and sell out, and I was over here, posting my head off, and still nobody was attending my classes.
I had to learn three main things:
The First: It doesn't matter how MANY people are following you, it matters more WHO is following you. As a business owner, you only need to attract the people who have the potential to buy from you in the future. So focus on quality over quantity.
The Second: Don't dedicate all of your online marketing efforts soley on social media content. Make sure you have a website and email list!
The Third: Provide a World-Class Experience and your Clients will Sell For You! Having a great, genuine referral program can help you take your clientele from 5 to 10, from 10 to 100.
No, I realize what you just read was a little vague. Here's why:
I elaborate completely in today's podcast episode which is a recording of the keynote speech I gave at the Aspire Women in Business Summit, Niagara in November 2023. I loved the experience and can't wait to do it again!
